Birthdays, Birthdays, and more Birthdays!

Well, today is such a busy day for me because I am moving into a new office at work (HOORAY!), but I wanted to make sure I tell some very special people Happy Birthday! And I tell you, there must be something about April because SOOOO many people have birthdays during this month! It's pretty cool!

First, is my good friend, Kellie, who I work with who had a birthday on Saturday! She's such a bright light and so much fun to be around! And we have some really great talks, especially when we are frustrated at work! I'm so glad I am able to work with her and enjoy her company every day! Next is my wonderful, wonderful mom, who had her birthday on Sunday. There just aren't enough kind words to describe her and how much I love and admire her. She is one of the most positive, upbeat, happy, unselfish, charitable, FUN people I know. I feel so thankful for this woman who is not only my mother, but one of my very best friends. I love you so much, mom, and look up to you in more ways than you will ever know. Thank you for all that you have done for me and continue to do for me in my life. Our relationship means the world to me! And now I am so lucky because she is living so much closer and we are able to spend so much more time together! I cherish that so much!
And today is a double hitter with one of my best friends, Jamie celebrating her birthday, as well as Chris' sister, Whitney. Jamie, wow, what history we have had for all these 20 or so years. You remain one of my favorite people in the world and there are few people that I love talking to more than you and few people who really seem to get me and all that I go through the way you do! You are the rare friend who is a life-time friend and I feel soooo thankful to know you and to have you in my life! I only wish we could live closer to each other and see each other more often. I miss our LONG talks, but am so grateful that we have the kind of friendship that remains the same no matter how long it's been since we have seen each other!
And Whitney, Chris and I are very thankful to have you in our family. You have a smile that lights up any room and we appreciate your concern for your family members and all that you do for them. You have been so kind to us over the years and we look forward to becoming even better friends as time goes on. We really love you! We hope you always know that!
And finally, tomorrow is my big brother, Aaron's birthday. For those of you who know me, you have probably heard me talk A LOT about this guy because he has always been someone who I have been super close with. We are only 15 months apart in age and have been best friends ever since Jr High and High School (are siblings supposed to like each other that much?!) I always knew he was an amazing brother, but it has been so neat to see how he has also become such an amazing husband and incredible father to his family as well. I see so much of him in his 3 boys and they sure are lucky to have him as their dad. And what a blessing to see that Chris and Aaron have also become such good friends over these years (they are soooo much alike, it's almost scary). We love you, bro!
