Special visitors

Kaiya had some very special visitors this last week! First was a fun few days with grandma and grandpa, who came and stayed at our house and babysat Kaiya all week while we went to work! It was such a treat to have so much together time with grandma and grandpa, especially these last few weeks before they head off to India for TWO years on their mission. It's almost too much for me to think that Kaiya will be over two years old when they get back!! YIKES! Can't think about that too much or I just get really sad! The next round of special visitors came on Sunday when Jessika and her mom and brother came by to say hi for a little bit. Kaiya was sooo happy to see them and to try on her new special shoes that Jessika's dad bought for her! They spoiled her rotten, of course, with the cutest little outfits for Valentine's Day and Kaiya was all smiles while they were visiting! She even got a chance to show off her cute new bottom teeth! Kaiya loves to have visitors over to play and is lucky to have so many special people in her life!
(By the way, isn't Jessika just so beautiful?! Kaiya is lucky to have inherited so much of that beauty!)

That bottom picture is PRICELESS! Jessika looks great. She is my hero! I think about her all the time and wonder what she is going through. I love that adoptions are open now. I can't even begin to imagine having the door shut on both sides. So many emotions on the other hand how excting to have some special events coming up. Other days it seems like forever ago and other days it seems like yesterday you brought her home. Sweet baby with SO much love. You're an awesome Mom!

They both have those amazing eyes that just sparkle like stars! Does Kaiya have Jessika's dimples? Jessika has a super great smile too. :) And how awesome that your parents get to spend 2 years in India! I didn't know they had missions that long for couples, that is SO cool! We dream of having their same experience, China and India, what could be better! :)

Such joy is captured in all of those photos! It is so neat to see the relationship between Kaiya and Jessika... what a blessing that the Lord has allowed for so many lives to intertwine, all for the love of a child. So beautiful.

Kaiya IS a lucky girl. She has a wonderful birth Mom and AMAZING adopted parents. Not to mention great Grandparents on both sides! Jessika looks so pretty and those pictures of she and Kaiya together are great.

I'm happy for your parents and I know they will be wonderful missionaries. I am also jealous that they will be eating yummy Indian food for two years. :)

Cool about your folks. My brother served in India for two years back in 93-95. Best of luck.

P.S. A Fine Frenzy performed on "Last Call with Carson Daly" last night. It was good stuff. Thanks again for the recommendation! Love you!
