The Forbidden City

This is the Forbidden City, home to the last emperor (maybe some of you have seen that movie). It was built to keep people from coming in and the emperor from going out. You can understand how that could be, since it really is a little city inside. It's HUGE! It apparently had everything that the emperor would ever need.

Yes, we are playing dress-up! They had these authentic costumes you could try on, so we figured what the heck! Don't you love Chris' mean warrior face?
The buildings are painted with such detail and beautiful, bright colors!
Lots of statues (some very interesting animals) everywhere in the city.
