Birthday festivities!

For Taylor's birthday this year, we asked her what she wanted to do and she was very specific -- she wanted to go to the zoo to see the giraffes and polar bear and she wanted cake pops and cupcakes. And of course, a few present requests too :) 

So, of course, we were sure to make it happen! And we had so much fun!! It started out as a little bit of rainy day at the zoo, but that ended up being ok because there was hardly anyone there! And the animals were nice and lively! And then the weather cleared and it was a really nice day! The girls always love being at the zoo and get so excited about the animals! I love their ages right now, I'm sure at some point the zoo will lose its' excitement! But for us, not yet! 

The next day, we had our family over for dinner and more birthday celebrations! And of course, the cupcakes and cake pops, as requested! It was a fun day for our girl, with her Grandma and Grandpa, aunt, and cousins! One of the things I love about Taylor is she is soooo easy to please! Each time she opened another present, she acted like it was literally the best and most exciting thing she had every seen! In fact, at one point, she was opening my sisters' family's present and all she saw was the confetti paper in the box (before she even got to the present) and she was soooo excited about the confetti and saying thank you for the pretty paper! Little did she know there was an actual present inside! And she is so appreciative of everything she gets! It's really cute!
