RED GROVER, RED GROVER!: Avery's birthday party!

This is so totally belated, but we had such a fun little birthday party for our little 2-year old sweetie so I didn't want to forget to write it down! Avie-girl LOVED it and it seemed to be the perfect winter party! We started with cupcakes on her actual bday, with the candles and everything. She actually didn't want anything to do with the cupcake! Funny! But the sisters, oh, they devoured them, or at least the parts that weren't stuck to their faces!

We took everyone to this great indoor pool in Clearfield and it perfect! Winter is so long here in Utah, so a break to go swimming is a welcomed treat in February! My sister and her kids came and met us there, along with my parents. Everyone had a blast! Chris was pretty much on slide patrol the entire time we were there -- our kids just wanted to keep going one right after the other and he was a great guy to take a ride with! We stayed for a few hours until everyone had turned various shades of blue and purple, but were totally content and happy with all the fun!

We then went to the Pizza Pie Cafe and enjoyed a yummy lunch and opened presents. I made some cute little Mickey/Minnie Mouse cake pops, since Avery is obsessed with them, like most 2 years olds! She was pretty excited about those, and so were her sisters!
