Trains, Trains, Trains!

We had a really fun day on Saturday! 

Our kids are totally in a train phase and have been for a long time. And since we are really lame, and have never ridden the FrontRunner, we decided it was high time!

We drove down to catch the train in Ogden, and literally jumped on with seconds to spare -- whew! From there, it was pure EXCITEMENT for these little girls! They seriously were jumping out of their chairs, running from one end of the car to another, giggling and laughing the entire time! Who knew this could be sooooo exciting?! Chris and I were getting such a total kick out of how amazed and thrilled they were! Simple pleasures -- those are my favorite kind!

Anyway, we took the train into Salt Lake, jumped on Trax (which also incited another episode of TOTAL excitment!) and went down to City Creek. We love it there -- this is our third trip down there in the past couple months! It was super busy, but we had fun spending the day walking around and splashing in the water fountains! We enjoyed a delish dinner at Cheesecake Factory, and then it was back to the train after a long and FUN day! The girls were totally tuckered out and they ALL crashed!! It was so cute!

Love a successful day of fun with the family! We will certainly be doing this again!
