We had such a nice Christmas Eve at mom and dad's. Mom put together a really fun program for the little kids, complete with the Christmas story on the flannel board and a chance for everyone to play the bells and sing! The kids loved it, as grandma is so good with that kind of stuff! Then, while the boys were watching a Christmas movie, the adults got to have a program of their own where we had the opportunity to discuss the Christmas story and the significance and blessings that our Savior's birth has had in our lives. It was a really special experience, thanks to my dad! Then we had cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate and snuggled up together to watch some favorite Christmas movies, while the boys hurried to bed to wait for Santa!
