Halloween fun!
We had a very fun and quite damp Halloween this year! We started off our trick-or-treating nice and dry and about halfway through our trek, it started POURING and we were all soaked, even with our umbrellas! It's funny how the kids were not phased even one little bit by the rain, though, they were having such a blast! It was one of my favorite Halloween's yet. The girls literally held hands and walked together laughing the entire time! It was precious! Taylor tried really hard to say "trick or treat" at the doors and Kaiya would just get really shy and grab her candy and go! But I think it is safe to say that we all would call it a successful night and the girls came home with some good treats in their buckets!
Before Halloween, we went to this really fun event that our town does every year. It's a BIG deal here too. It's the annual Pumpkin Walk and honestly, it was pretty amazing! Thousands and thousands of pumpkins everywhere! It was our first year attending and we were very impressed! It is held at a park and the park is just FULL of all these scenes all created out of pumpkins by various groups in the community. It was amazing the things they could do with pumpkins! Most of the time, you could hardly tell pumpkins were even being used because they were implemented so creatively! Our girls DIED over the whole thing! They ran from scene to scene, yelling what movie the scene was from! Kaiya has been really into "Up" lately, so this one was her favorite and it was REALLY cool! They also have all these wooden scenes set up that kids can stick their faces in and Kaiya thought this was the coolest thing ever! One of my favorite things was hearing Taylor yelling "kunkin" every time she would see a pumpkin she liked! Sooo cute! They both had such a fun time and it was something really fun that our family will enjoy in the years to come! Very impressive!
So all in all it was a very fun Halloween this year and a great way to kick off the holiday seasons ahead!

That Halloween walk looks like a blast! My girls are sad since they do not get to go Trick or Treating this year, but they have enjoyed handing out the candy to their friends that are coming to our door. I love that Utah does it on Saturday. Your girls look so precious together!
Kaiya and Taylor were the cutest little munchkins in all of Logan. The pics of them holding hands and walking is so precious--better enlarge that one. We have missed so much it seems.
Love your husband in the jet while your little girl looks at him! So stinkin cute!
Happy Halloween! The girls look great! And so do you, I might add. Glad you had a good time.
